Krystal Larsosa - Owner, Krystal Klir Communications

Krystal Larsosa is a Detroit-based entrepreneur, strategist, artist, and community leader committed to unlocking economic opportunity and advancing innovation through diversity of experience and access. She is the Founder and Principal of Krystal Klir Communications, a Black-woman-owned, family-operated firm providing executive coaching, strategic planning, training, and media services to government, corporate, and community partners.

She also co-founded and co-owns the firm’s affiliated enterprises, including HerSheKissis Media, a youth-led media company she built with her daughters to elevate the brilliance, creativity, and leadership of Black youth and families. HerSheKissis has reached hundreds of thousands of followers and has partnered with major institutions including City of Detroit, Detroit Public Schools Community District, Verizon Wireless, and national brands seeking authentic engagement with emerging audiences and communities.

Krystal serves as Founding Chair and Executive Director of the Detroit Marriage Movement, where she leads initiatives such as the Marriage & Fatherhood Fund and the Detroit Wives Club. Through this work, she advances healthy births, economic mobility, and generational wealth by strengthening relationships, expanding access to opportunity, and helping families build stable, prosperous futures.

Her career began in youth development, criminal justice, and education, where she organized treatment-based programming, safe play initiatives, and leadership opportunities for young people across Detroit’s schools, churches, and juvenile justice settings. These experiences shaped her belief that talent exists everywhere and that organizations and communities thrive when barriers to participation, leadership, and economic contribution are removed.

In 2021, Krystal emerged as a civic leader and political candidate in Detroit, inspiring thousands of residents with a platform centered on economic justice, workforce opportunity, and family stability. Her leadership continues to influence public discourse, community development, and institutional change across the region.

A lifelong Detroiter and graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Krystal’s leadership is grounded in her roles as a wife, mother, and neighbor. She and her husband, Jasahn, are raising their three daughters in Detroit, where they remain deeply engaged in community life. Together, they enjoy reading, traveling, and exploring the country in their family RV, building a legacy rooted in love, leadership, and service.
